Located in the Northeastern section of Polk County. It is one of the fastest growing areas of Central Florida.
The Davenport Area is just 10 miles from Walt Disney World along Interstate 4. The Orlando metropolitan area is 30 miles East of Davenport and the downtown Tampa business district is about 1 hours drive to the West along I-4.
Located within the city limits of Davenport is the Davenport School of the Arts. Two middle schools, elementary schools and High School are also located nearby. Only 4 miles away, is the fully accredited Heart of Florida Hospital. Polk Community College, Webber College, Florida Southern, Warner Southern College and Valencia College are all within a short driving distance.
Davenport became know as the “place to invest” shortly after the big real estate boom which occured from 2002 – 2006. Vacation resort developments seemed to appear overnight. Even today, Davenport is still considered a great location to purchase real estate becase of it’s close approximation to Disney World, Epcot Center and Disney Resort are an international family draw.
